Wash U

The WashU Logo is made up of two elements: the shield and the wordmark. The “WashU” wordmark cannot be used by itself.

The full-color WashU Logo should only be used on solid light backgrounds/products: white, gray, oatmeal, beige, natural, etc.

The one-color WashU Logo can only be reproduced in white, black, or WashU Red and can only be used on solid color backgrounds/products of red, green, white, black, gray, oatmeal, beige, natural, etc.

The one-color WashU School Logos can only be reproduced in white or black and can only be used on solid color backgrounds/products of red, green, white, black, gray, oatmeal, beige, natural, etc.

The one-color WashU Shield may be used as an ornamental element by itself, however the WashU Logo must be included on the product in another imprint area.

The full-color WashU Shield used as a stand-alone element will be considered on an exception basis.

Do not fill the WashU Shield with white – it should always be transparent.

The WashU Seal is reserved for the Office of the Chancellor and Commencement. Use on merchandise will be on an exception basis, and the university does not allow faux seals.

Leave space around the WashU Logo at least equal to the size of the shield.

WashU Logo embroidery minimum is 3” wide x 3/4” tall – 2,544 stitch count for full color – 2,570 stitch count for 1-color.
