University Of Northern Iowa Brand Guidelines

Reproduction of any logos or wordmarks is prohibited without the approval of University of Northern Iowa and Affinity Licensing, LLC.

These marks may not be altered in any way with the exception of proportionate scaling.

The primary and secondary athletics logos require clear space at least equivalent to the distance between the lowest portion of the cat's eye to a point on the top line of the eye directly opposite.

The university logos require clear space at least equal to the height of the "I" in the "UNI" portion of the logo.

If rotating the university logo in a vertical orientation, the "UNI" portion of the mark must be at the bottom (i.e. move upward when reading the text).

The sole use of black and gold or red and gold is prohibited for any University of Northern Iowa marks. Designs that rely heavily on these color schemes may also be rejected.

Marks can only be used on purple, gold, white or other neutral color background/products.

Use of university seal permitted on a limited, case-by-case basis.

Licensed consumables must have expiration date on packaging.

Cross-licensing with other marks may be permitted with an additional agreement.

No references to alcohol, drugs, or tobacco-related products may be used in conjunction with university marks.

When space, process or other limitations occur, "The Vintage Collection" portion of the art can be printed separately in an alternate location on the product or on a tag.
