Reproduction of any logos or wordmarks is prohibited without the approval of UAB Medicine.

Use of these marks is restricted to baseball hats only. The Primary Athletics Logo must also appear somewhere on the hat.

Logos appearing in all gold, or gold and white, may never be placed on all black backgrounds. Instead, white or green backgrounds are recommended.

The dragon head must face forward at all times. For distressed designs, at least 90% of the dragon must be visible.

When presented graphically, the words 'Alabama' and 'Birmingham' must be on the same line and carry equal graphic weight.

The only allowable established date is that of the university as an institution, which is the year 1969. When used in a design, the entire year must appear all on the same line, and each number must carry equal graphic weight. The date should never appear split with space or graphics dividing '19' and '69.' Roman numerals may not be used. Also, no usage of the words 'Athletic Department' or any of the sports programs should be mentioned with this date.

Marks may only be printed in the colors shown in the style guide.

All UAB logos may be produced in metallic gold ink and gold foil stamp.

Red is not an official university color and should only appear within the flame of Blaze the dragon. Black is not an official university color and should only appear within Blaze the dragon and all black versions of logos.
