Seton Hall University Brand Guidelines

The University Consumer Marks may also be used in any one of the official Seton Hall colors (in order of preference: all SH Blue, all SH Silver, or all SH Black). If none of the official colors are available (or their process color equivalents), the marks should be reversed out of the darkest color available.

In every mark, on SH Blue backgrounds, all type becomes white and all rules and the Seton Hall buildings graphic become SH Silver. In every mark on SH Silver, all type becomes SH Blue and all rules and the Seton Hall buildings graphic become white. University marks should be used in all white whenever placed on a dark background other than SH Blue, SH Silver or their process equivalents. The background must at least be darker than the value of 50% black. When using the University Consumer Marks on complex or distracting backgrounds, the marks should be placed within a solid, single-color shape to avoid confusion. The shape must not intrude upon the mark's control area.

The clear zone for each of the University primary and secondary logos is 1.5 times the height of the word 'S' in each mark.

The Athletic Marks may also be used in any one of the official Seton Hall colors (in order of preference: all SH Blue, all SH Athletics Gray, or all SH Black). Never reverse marks that include the pirate. The bandana, patch, moustache, etc., should be white.

The Secondary Athletic Marks (#26, #27, #28) cannot be used in one color. Must be full color, 2-color or black.

For the Pirate head logo, the clear zone is the same as the height of the Pirate’s bandana.

For the monogram logo, the clear zone is 1.5 times the thickness of the vertical stroke of the “H.”

No use of current players' name, image, or likeness is permitted on commercial products in violation of NCAA rules and regulations.

No references to alcohol, drugs, or tobacco related products may be used in conjunction with University marks.
