Oakland University Brand Guidelines

No use of current players' name, image, or likeness is permitted on commercial products in violation of NCAA rules and regulations.

Interlocking OU marks are to be used only for Oakland University schools, colleges, units, departments and centers. These marks can be produced in black, PMS 465 (PMS 872 C for specialty metallic gold) or white but not in any combinations of those colors. At a small size, type should be no smaller than 8 pt. The TM should be visible and present on all marks. Do not recreate these marks or alter the elements in any way. All fonts, leading, lines and spacing should remain as shown below. The marks should maintain proportion when reduced or enlarged. These marks may be used on giveaway and promotional items produced by a licensed, approved vendor. Main Unit Font is Helvetica Neue Bold Condensed, with secondary united (if applicable) in Helvetica Neue Condensed. Use all capital letters. Interlocking OU can only be used in official one color marks provided above, black, gold or white. For specialty causes, please gather approval from Oakland University Communications and Marketing.

Oakland University's official marks may not be combined within the same imprint area unless the item is a step-and-repeat or similar branded backdrop.

University seal permitted on products for resale (reviewed on a case-by-case basis). No alterations or overlaying graphics to seal permitted.

No references to alcohol, drugs, or tobacco related products may be used in conjunction with University marks.
