The uniform mark is for varsity athletics use only. The uniform mark may be used as a stand-alone graphic on uniforms ONLY. For non-uniform apparel, the uniform mark must be accompanied by one of the primary athletic marks. This logo is not approved for products intended for retail sale.

The bolt mark and the cloud mark are secondary marks and may not appear as stand-alone logos. Secondary marks must be used with one of the primary athletic marks.

The rugby crest mark is approved for use by rugby ONLY on both uniform and non-uniform apparel. This logo is not approved for products intended to be sold in UNE's bookstore. This logo is not approved for products intended for retail sale.

The UNE Nor'easter curve marks are for student groups, clubs, and organizations. They are no longer customizable. Student groups can add their name, in any of the UNE approved fonts, as long as it is a clear space from the logo.

Sport specific marks are for use by varsity teams only. Each sport has two versions. Club sports and other groups may not customize the logo.

Marks 124 through 127 are to be used when space is limited.

When embroidering the logo on a garment or other product, the tag line may be omitted as shown below. This is the only time the logo can be used without the tag line.

The University seal is reserved for the most formal applications. Usage of the University seal is prohibited without permission from the Office of Communications.

A primary mark must be used on all items. This includes the "University of New England" institutional marks, the "UNE Nor'easters" primary athletics marks, or the Nor'easter Curve mark. If space is limited, an exception may be made with approval from the Director of Creative Services.

The words "University of New England," "Nor'easter," and "UNE" may not be used as text on any item. An exception may be made with approval from the Director of Creative Services.

No text will be approved unless accompanied by an approved UNE mark. If space is limited, an exception may be made with approval from the Director of Creative Services.

Text and styling must be brand-appropriate, use an official typeface, and follow correct spacing guidelines as indicated in the UNE Brand Manual.

The UNE marks may not be changed or altered in any way. This includes changing a mark's color, editing its text, separating its elements, or otherwise varying its appearance or proportions.

No alterations or overlaying graphics to seal permitted.

No references to alcohol, drugs, or tobacco related products may be used in conjunction with University marks.

All athletic uniforms require Brand Manager approval.

In the production of face masks or face coverings that bear the UNE brand, the brand must appear on the left or right side of the mask (not in the center). Internal requests for such products should be addressed to the Director of Creative Services at [email protected].
