Fairleigh Dickinson University (FAR)

The Knightro Sword cannot be a stand alone mark; it has to be paired with FDU identification.

The formal logo with the full University name is the primary identity representing Fairleigh Dickinson University and the preferred look for most uses and gift items. For sub-units (campuses, colleges, schools, etc.) the formal logo is to be used with a thin rule underneath and the name of the unit in upper and lower case letters.

The FDU marks, with and without the tagline, provide an attractive complement to the logo, and their use is encouraged particularly when the target audience is internal or regional.

The University seal is reserved primarily for official documents like citations and diplomas. It must not be used on any athletic merchandise and/or as the primary mark for clothing, however, it may be used on selected gift items.

The primary visual element for the Devils athletic program is the Devils head logo and this should be widely featured.

When a secondary element is desired to accompany or supplement the Devils head or when there is a compelling space consideration and a need to use the letters FDU, the FDU wordmark with the pitchfork may be used.
