Reversing Athletics Marks on Dark Backgrounds
When reversing the Primary and Secondary Athletics Marks, or the Institutional Spirit Mark on a black or dark background, the darkest value should always be the primary outline of the Wildcat head (the widest part of the mane, inside of the mouth, eye, nose, etc.).
Secondary Athletics Marks Accompaniment Requirement
Marks 9-12 must be accompanied by 'CWU,' 'Central Washington,' or 'Central Washington University' somewhere on the product.
Athletics C Marks Accompaniment Requirement
Marks 26-37 must be accompanied by 'CWU,' 'Central Washington,' or 'Central Washington University' somewhere on the product.
Athletics Marks Exclusive Use
All CWU Athletics marks are for the exclusive use of Athletics and may not be paired with the name of other university units or departments.
Type Treatments with Athletics Marks
Type treatments paired with Athletics marks should be set in Eurostile Bold.
Preferred Orientation for Wildcat Spirit Mark
It is preferred to have the Wildcat Spirit Mark facing right when used.
No Use of Current Players' Name, Image, or Likeness
No use of current players' name, image, or likeness is permitted on commercial products in violation of NCAA rules and regulations.
No References to Prohibited Products
No references to alcohol, drugs, tobacco, weapons, guns, knives, ammunition, or related products may be used in conjunction with University marks.
Marks Restricted to Approved School Colors
Marks: 1, 2, 5, 6, 9, 10, 13, 14, 17, 18, 21, 22, 26, 27, 30, 31, 34, 35, 38, 39, 42, 43, 46, 47, 50-52 and 56-58 can only be used in approved CWU school colors.
Stitching/Embroidering CWU Marks
When stitching/embroidering CWU marks, use the two-color and single color versions.
Stitching/Embroidering Wildcat Spirit Mark
When stitching/embroidering the CWU Wildcat Spirit mark, or any mark with the Wildcat head, use a Step Stitch or equivalent. Do not use a Satin Stitch.
