Colorado Denver Brand Guidelines

Primary Spirit Marks minimum size for embroidery is 1.5" wide. Secondary Institutional Marks minimum size for embroidery is 2.25" wide. Secondary Spirit Mark/Character Illustration minimum size for embroidery is 1.0" wide. Secondary Institutional Marks minimum size for embroidery is 1.25" wide. Other Institutional Marks minimum size for embroidery is 0.375" tall.

The interlocking CU should be used with the official logotype of the entity it represents. The interlocking CU may be used alone at the system level only.

The inscription should not be used when the reproduction of the commercial seal is less than the size of a quarter (1.0" DIA) and/or if the inscription is unreadable.

Do not pair marks and verbiage on the same side of a product if there is significant repetition between the two. Spirit marks should not have any verbiage underneath that repeats 'CU Denver Lynx'.

Do not use verbiage that directly relates to a specific mark without the use of the mark itself. 'Milo the Lynx' as verbiage should always be paired with a representation of the mascot, Milo.

Mark and verbiage pairings on merchandise should be made intentionally. They should support each other, not cover the same ground.

University seal permitted on products for resale with removal of inscription only. No alterations to seal permitted. No overlaying or intersecting graphics permitted with seal.

No use of current players' name, image, or likeness is permitted on commercial products in violation of NCAA rules and regulations.

No references to alcohol, drugs, or tobacco related products may be used in conjunction with University marks.
